With over 31 years as a fully trained beautician and over 23 years experience as a permanent make up practitioner, Julie has a plethora of experience to draw upon. She continually updates her training with Nouveau Contour, attending annual seminars to keep abreast of the latest techniques and equipment.

 

Permanent Eyebrows

This is an ideal treatment for people who continually need to use a brow pencil for patchy or non-existent eyebrows. It is also fantastic for Alopecia or chemotherapy patients. Brows can be done to create a subtle look similar to Micro-Blading using our new Digital Nano Needles and our Digital machine. Alternatively, we can create a slightly thicker hair which will give a slightly heavier look that will last longer in the skin cutting down on the frequency of touch ups.

How does it work?
Permanent Cosmetics are a type of cosmetic tatooing that uses pharmaceutical grade pigments which are applied to the upper dermis of the skin. This results in a wonderful shadow of colour that looks like perfectly applied make-up.

How long does it last?
Permanent cosmetics are exactly as they sound - permanent! Over the years the colour may fade, but don't worry, you can simply have a top-up every year to 18 months which makes them look as good as new.

Does it hurt?
It's no more painful than having your eyebrows tweezed and your Nouveau Contour technician uses sophisticated equipment that eliminates any distress.

Can it be used for anything else?
The answer is yes. Permanent cosmetics can be used for paramedical work. They are ideal for replicating realistic nipples onto reconstructed breasts after a mastectomy or covering scars, hare lips, or even covering existing procedures.

Permanent Eyeliners

Beautiful eyes made easy with a natural look. This technique has been created to make your eyes look bigger, lashes thicker and to emphasise the colour of your eyes. There are even advanced techniques that give the eye a better contour. This treatment is ideal for sporty types, especially swimmers, or people with small eyes who are looking for more definition and shape.
